New book by Springer on Turbulence in Porous Media

A new book titled "TURBULENT IMPINGING JETS INTO POROUS MATERIALS" is in production by Springer, Germany. The book,  scheduled to be available in April, documents a systematic work at LCFT/ITA on impinging jets onto surfaces covered by a porous material. The text investigates the advantages, or otherwise, of having a layer of a material with high thermal conductivity and highly porous covering a bare heat transfer surface.
