Elsevier releases 2nd edition of the book "Turbulence in Porous Media"

A new edition of the book Turbulence in Porous Media: Modeling and Applications, is scheduled to be released during this month of June, 2012. The book, first published in 2006, has proposed and discussed a new approach to mathematical modeling of flow, heat and mass transfer in permeable media. In the 2nd edition, treatment of reacting flows in porous materials and analysis of transport phenomena in moving permeable beds are included. Design and analysis of new equipment for efficient energy production and advanced materials manufacturing can benefit from the innovative ideas detailed in this book.
